Apricot Frangipane
Sharing a great summer recipe today that can be easily adapted. If you prefer, it can be made in a pre-baked tart shell or you can substitute 300g raspberries or plums for the apricots. Enjoy!
Pastel de Nata
Sharing some absolutely delicious Portuguese custard tarts that I baked over the weekend. Homemade puff pastry is filled with a lemon and cinnamon flavoured custard, pressed into specially shaped tins, and baked in a hot oven.
Nectarine Galette
This is one of my favourite easy summer desserts and you really don’t even need a formal recipe to make it! A galette is a free-form tart so they are easy to make and look impressive and you can use whatever fruit is in season.
Strawberry Paris Brest
A bit of French baking today as I develop some new Autumn classes. This Strawberry Paris Brest is made with choux pastry, filled with strawberry mousseline, jam, fresh strawberries, and topped with a dusting of icing sugar. Yum!
