TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking any of our classes or online workshops you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

What’s included:
Ingredients and equipment are provided for all in person classes. Please bring your own apron and a container in which to take your baked goods home. We reserve the right to make amendments to course content and recipes without notice. A list of ingredients and necessary equipment will be sent out prior to online workshops.

Age requirements:
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the class. Children’s party classes are suitable for children aged 9 and over and must have an adult chaperone who remains on-site for the duration of the party.

Health & Safety:
All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We recommend wearing washable clothing and are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing.
If you have been or are suffering from food poisoning or an upset stomach (or have come into contact with anybody who is exhibiting these symptoms) within 48 hours of the course, we would ask that you not to attend and contact ourselves.

All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster. If you don’t have a plaster, let us know on arrival and we will be happy to provide one.

Special dietary requirements & food allergies:
We are unable to tailor our course content for special dietary requirements without prior agreement. We will be happy to discuss course content beforehand to allow you to make your own adjustments if necessary.
Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, learning difficulties etc.

Lateness:
Starting on time is crucial so please arrive on time for your workshop.
If you are late, please be aware that the class may have started. Wherever possible, we will allow you to join in, and do our best to catch you up. A refund will not be provided in this instance.

There is free parking and many eateries and shops in Shipston on Stour if you arrive in town early for your class.

Payment:
All payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.

Delivery – Classes & Gift Vouchers:
Upon successful completion of an online order with us you will receive confirmation of your order by email to your nominated email address. Gift vouchers codes will also be sent via email and you will be able to download a PDF of a gift voucher at this time.

Cancellations:
To request a cancellation you must provide The Cotswolds Baking Workshop with written notice via email. Unless you have received acknowledgement from us that we have received your request, you cannot consider your request delivered. You may only terminate the contract in the circumstances set out below.

Course cancellations with more than one month from of the start of your course:
You may request a change of course date up to one month before the start of the course and we will happily transfer you to another course date, subject to availability.
You may also request a refund up to one month before the start of the course you have booked however refunding a booking will be subject to an administration charge of £20.

Course cancellations within one month of the start of your course:
If you are unable to attend a class or experience day within 1 month of the start of the course, we regret that we will be unable to offer a refund but will do our best to reschedule you.

Gift vouchers:
Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers are transferable, so if you are unable to make your class, you may contact us to nominate a replacement. Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from their date of purchase.

Cancellations by The Cotswolds Baking Workshop:
The Cotswolds Baking Workshop is entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the course or the part of the course which has been cancelled.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of a class by ourselves, we undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course, or a full refund (within 14 days) of any course fees  However if the workshop was paid for by gift voucher(s), we will replace the vouchers to the value.
We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Refunds:
No refund will be made if you fail to attend all or any part of a class.
All refunds are made to the source of the initial payment, ie. fees paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card.

Privacy policy:
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
