Natas Heaven in Lisbon! Wow – what a day – finally got to meet Chef Joao Batahla at his family bakery Pastelaria Batahla to learn his top tips for making authentic Portuguese pastel de nata. Having originally learned to make natas both in Porto and online with Chef Joao, it was great to be baking there in person and I certainly picked up a few more tips. Brilliant experience!
