Another superb day of baking camaraderie The Bertinet Kitchen in Bath learning to make some classic Italian Easter treats. We kicked off with pasteira, a traditional Italian Easter tart, moved onto crescia al formaggio-a delicious cheesy bread, and finished with an impressive torta pasqualina (Easter pie filled with chard and ricotta). Giuseppe also demo’d a yummy ciambellone di pasqua, an Easter doughnut cake, for our dessert.
As always we finished the day with a delicious and convivial lunch and lots of treats to take home.
