One of the most fabulous flavour matches I know!
Sharing a recipe for a good, basic chocolate sauce that you need in your baking repertoire.
100g unsalted butter
100g plain chocolate
250g caster sugar
350g evaporated milk
A few drops of vanilla extract
Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan. Add caster sugar and evaporated milk and cook gently until thickened (this can take up to 20 minutes). Remove from the heat when thickened and stir in the vanilla extract. Alcohol or nuts can be added for variation.
